METRO Slovakia celebrating 20th anniversary

The journey of METRO Slovakia started in the year 2000 with the opening of three stores. As of today, six stores cover the entire country.

Slovakia was one of the first countries within METRO to establish a delivery service so that customers gain valuable time for their business while being delivered. As one of our trader focused countries, an important pillar is the trader franchise network under the brand "Moj Obchod". Since its market entry in 2012 it steadily grows and consists of 545 shops in FY 2019/20.

METRO Slovakia perceives these 20 years as a long common journey which they walk along with their customers. It is the power of a relationship at eye-level which brought up plenty of solutions for great business ideas. With customer´s feedback, METRO Slovakia always improved their services and is therefore grateful for every single year. In order to celebrate this 20 years of partnership together and to say "Thank You", METRO Slovakia has set up a dedicated anniversary website with a lot of specials and an extraordinary raffle.
