Within the scope of the new partnership, METRO will supply the stadium as well as the junior training centre of the red-and-white team with food and – supported by its broad-based network of nutritional experts – advise the athletic department on nutritional matters. In addition, starting in the 2022/23 season, there will be a new hospitality experience in the VIP area of the Merkur Spiel-Arena – the METRO Lounge will be created there for Fortuna's home games, bringing live cooking events and much more to the VIP guests. The partnership is initially designed for a period of 2,5 and will run until 30 June 2024.
