Andrea Euenheim resigns from the Board at the End of March 2022

Andrea Euenheim, Member of the Management Board (Chief Human Resources Officer, CHRO) and Labour Director of METRO AG since 1 November 2019, will resign from the Management Board at her own request on 31 March 2022 to take up an assignment outside the company.

In the course of the reorganization of the wholesaler's management structure, which was announced on 11 November 2021 and was associated with a personnel realignment of the Management Board, Andrea Euenheim had announced that she would not renew her contract, which expires at the end of October 2022.

Until a new CHRO is appointed, Dr Steffen Greubel, Chairman of the Management Board, will assume the responsibilities of CHRO and Labour Director.

The Supervisory Board has begun the search for a successor.

"With her experience, Andrea Euenheim has accompanied the transformation of the company into a pure wholesaler with important initiatives and has shaped the culture of togetherness especially during the pandemic.
