METRO AG is again delighted to have won one of this year’s German Stevie Awards for its online annual report 2021/22, entitled ‘Here we go’. For this year’s competition, a jury of around 50 executives cast an expert eye over 400 nominations to filter out the most innovative solutions and the best submissions. As in the last 2 years, METRO AG came out on top in the ‘Best Online Annual Report’ category and was awarded gold.
The jury was impressed as a whole and was full of praise: a professional and interactive annual report with a good mix of video and text. The motto ‘Here we go’ creates a thematic framework and a strong brand presence. By integrating content that gives customers, suppliers and employees a voice, the report acquires a human face and comes across as personal and authentic. In short: an inspiring report with a clear focus and memorable stories.
The German Stevie Awards are among the leading business awards for German-speaking companies in Europe. The awards represent public recognition of companies’ outstanding accomplishments in 200 categories. The Stevie Award trophies are handed out at a ceremony as part of a festive gala in Berlin.
This German Stevie Award is METRO AG’s second award for an annual report this year. The company recently scooped a silver International Creative Media Award (ICMA) in the ‘Annual Reports Online’ category for the online annual report 2020/21.
